What Started as a Side Job Turned Into a Family Business

Business grew quickly and shortly after I formed the company, I brought on my sister, Theresa, to help with our finances and administration. Terri played a vital role in helping Pappas Painting run smoothly and, together, we continued to grow the business and make a name for ourselves.

Within a few years, we were ranked one of the highest-rated painting companies in the Denver Metro area. We were the first painting company to be selected by Angie’s List in the Denver market and have maintained an A rating with them the entire time. We have also been the recipient of their Super Service Award every year since they began awarding them in Denver in 2009.

Since 2016, we have expanded our team with the addition of project managers, nine painting crews and administrative and marketing staff. We are committed to family and maintaining a family atmosphere, and many of our staff have young children or are work-from-home moms.

Although we have grown over the years, we work hard to maintain the qualities that make a family painting company so great to work with. Our company reputation is tied to our family’s reputation, and that’s something we take seriously. My background working for a major airline gave me the skills and desire to create a company that places a very high priority on customer service. I know the value that being excellent in this area can bring, and that commitment to excellence dictates many of our policies at Pappas Painting.
